No Small Undertaking
Argosy University started a series of continuing educational courses and required branding their internal marketing team could use for the internal and external marketing. Being one of three umbrella schools run by Dream Center Education Holding's it required to be sub-branded by three other educational institutions.
Comps
I created three different comps – each with its own symbolism and color palette. All comps features the courses tagline "Courses for Specialized Growth". The client ultimate went with another option.
Comp 1
SYMBOLISM
Using lowercase font to represent the condensed/concise nature of the courses themselves. The smooth and angular shapes allude to the high-tech approach to learning being conducted online. The stylized “o” is made up of 4 pieces that represent aspects of human growth: Physical, Mental, Emotional, and Social, which are all areas that attendees/students will grow in by attending these nano credentials courses.
COLOR PALETTE
The 4 colored pieces also represent the four education institutions
Green = Argosy University // Red = The Art Institutes // Orange = South University // Blue = DreamCenter
Comp 2
SYMBOLISM
The font being used is a ode to old collegiate letterman jackets. The pieced nature of the a + o represents how a student can take a multitude of different courses and tailor together the proper education that fits them.
COLOR PALETTE
The blue represents the DreamCenter Association. The color blue is associated with freedom, imagination, and inspiration. Blue has positive effects on the mind and the body.
