See Dog Run…
To help promote and reaffirm the dogtime.com + cattime.com brand in their custom video content the Editorial Team looked to us in creating a meaningful animation that spoke to the brands love of dogs and it's upbeat approach to storytelling with some restrictions of course. The Editorial Team required the following:

- 3 Second Duration they requested that we limit the animation to such a small amount of time to ensure there is no Viewer dropoff and allowed the Viewer to go view the desired video as quickly as possible
- Sound Effects they wanted us to incorporate a dog bark + cat purr to have additional layer of realism
- Dog + Cat Mannerisms they wanted us to have the tail wag as well to show a hint of the excitement

I spoke with our team of Animators to come up with some concepts and solutions to satisfy the Editorial's Team request yet, at the sametime have some artistic license. Below is what we came up with and was more then the Editorial Team expected and they were quite overjoyed with the results.
CANINE CHARACTERISTICS
The animation team really enjoyed not only animating the Dog itself as well as the Logotype + Tagline and how the Dog interacted with those elements. The solution the Animation team came up with went above and beyond the requirements of the Editorial Team brining the Dog to life mimicking an everyday Dog Interaction of – “Playing Fetch”.

When searching for sound effects alot of the barks tha we came across were either too “aggressive” or didn't fit the breed of that of a Grey Hound. At the end of they day we recorded custom dog bark and altered it accordinlgy using Soundbooth and then included additional sound effects for the ball bouncing.
