Kumbaya – "Come By Here."
I was invited to help redesign the YMCA Summer Camp Website for the greater Rhode Island chapter. The client had a handful of pain points with the previous website and updated content:

- Promoting multiple locations and camp offerings
- How to differentiate activities availability for different age ranges
- Incorporating more imagery and video yet by not overshadowing important camp info
- Generating leads for attending info-sessions, early registration via Formstack and incorporating LiveChat plugin
- Making the site responsive with 80% of their website is viewed on mobile
TENTATIVE USER FLOW // We outlined the user's various paths through the website to help define what pages and functionality are necessary. After the initial discovery the client mentioned Parent's search primarily based on location and on age range of their children.
Content Strategy
I reviewed the client provided content (e.g., camp packets and registration sheets) and to get a holistic view of all YMCA's Camp offerings I compiled everything into a google sheet to aid aggregate similar content (e.g., Activities), determine general info applicable to all locations (e.g., Important Dates, Age Ranges etc.) and delineate camp specific content (e.g., Price Fees.)
Wireframes
After we finalized the content strategy and functionality with the client I proceeded with the wireframes.
The UI - Mocks
After the client approved the wireframes we delved into the UI and applied the existing aesthetic created from the print marketing collateral that my colleague created.
